New Leadership for the EMAEE
At the November 13 meeting, the East Michigan Association of Energy Engineers elected a new president. David Everest of the Siemens Corporation will replace outgoing long time president Keith Willis of the Trane Corporation. The organization recognized Doctor Willis' dedication and hard work over the past decade by presenting him with a framed letter of recognition from the national AEE as well as a plaque noting his past positions within the organization.

Long time friend and six year board member Bruce Snyder said, "Keith's hard work and dedication to the organization will be sorely missed, but we are very excited about what David brings to the table. The infusion of new blood is good for the organization. This is a very exciting time for us, high performance buildings and the USGBC's LEED program are bringing a lot of new attention to the work that we've been focusing on for years."

The East Michigan Association of Energy Engineers meets four times a year at Lawrence Technological University's LEED certified Taubman Student Services Building. Dinner presentations are made by local, regional and national energy and efficiency experts.
