EMAEE Fall 2012 Meeting - September 11, 2012
The East Michigan Association of Energy Engineers invites you to attend their meeting on Tuesday September 11, 2012.

Compressed Air & DTE Rebate Program Update

By: Jeff Gorgas

Summary of presentation:
Jeff Gorgas will provide an overview of compressed air technologies and the associated energy-saving opportunities corresponding to compressed air system equipment and design. Jeff has been working with Ingersoll Rand as a Systems Engineer for over 13 years in the Detroit Area ever since graduating from Michigan State University with a degree in Engineering. In addition to talking about energy efficient compressed air equipment and system design, Jeff will discuss recent energy projects where clients were able to take advantage of the DTE and Consumers Energy Rebate Programs. The presentation will be open to questions and will focus on areas of interest based on feedback from the group.

A representative from DTE Energy will provide an update on the utility's energy rebate program at the meeting. The Energy Efficiency Program for Business offers cash incentives for projects that increase energy efficiency while lowering energy costs. In addition to earning rebates, the installation of new equipment also will accelerate the simple payback period on the investment - to as little as a single year.
